The town we live in has a Summer Concert Series each year. Most Fridays during the summer, a band, or group plays a concert down at the Town Green. Every summer that we have lived here, friends and neighbors have asked us if we were going to go down to the Green for the concert. Here were our excuses:
- 2003 - VERY pregnant with Brian, and then recovering from a c-section with a newborn
- 2004 - pretty pregnant with Sean, Brian going to bed at 8pm (concerts start at 7 pm)
- 2005 - 2 small boys who go to bed at 8pm, and me not wanting to veer off the bedtime routine
- 2006 - pregnant with Colin, had a broken ankle, and 2 slightly bigger, but still small boys who go to bed at 8 pm, and me not wanting to veer off the bedtime routine
- 2007 - finally make it to a concert - Troutfishing in America - they are a kid's duo, and we had a BLAST
Of course we discover this great, free activity right before we are moving. Doh!
