So we are preparing just in case Ms. Fay decides to pay us a visit. Chris is out in the pouring rain right now getting together our Disaster Supply Kit. Tonight we will be watching the DVD tutorial on how to put up the hurricane shutters instead of the Olympics. Alright, I may have to commandeer the big t.v. to root Superman and his teammates on to victory.

Please say a little prayer
I'm leaving to go on a retreat tomorrow morning and won't be home until Sunday afternoon. Chris will be with the boys all by himself all weekend. Any little prayers you can offer up for my saint of a husband would be appreciated!

Space Shuttle Endeavor
In recognition of the return of the space shuttle Endeavor, here is some video I shot of the take off of the shuttle. Chris and I set our alarms for 2 a.m. and made sure to head outside to watch one of the last night launches - there will be a few more, but as long as we're so close why not lose a little sleep, right?

You know you're a mom when...
You are up in the middle of the night praying your rosary while sitting on the toilet (with the lid closed of course!),holding a coughing baby while the running shower produces so much steam that the floor is wet.
Oh, and also when you use your hands to catch vomit in the middle of the blinds aisle in Home Depot!

I'm up to my elbows in...
Well, let's just say that I'm waiting for someone to peepee on me to make it a bodily fluids trifecta sort of day!
This not having a washing machine/dryer thing is really getting old especially since I now have LOTS of laundry to do!
